Oh, I’m so not knowledgeable when it comes to composers. I mostly listen to soundtracks when it comes to instrumental music. Any movie I like (with an original soundtrack) I try to check out the music. Youtube helps a lot :)
Like you I like Tchaikovsky (of course), but I always get lost as to where to start when it comes to other composers like Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, etc. They just have so much!
I will post this answer to my Tumblr, and invite people to leave a reply for us :)
So please, dear follower, if you have any good suggestion for classical / instrumental music of any kind (soundtrack, modern, etc), please please, leave me a little reply?
Hope this will help xx
the light pierced the horizon and I stood transfixed. It is hard for the heart to witness the birth of a day, and harder still to remember it. Thousands of tiny crystals bursting into light. sparkling sparkling in the morning air. My breath made clouds around my head and it felt like flying.
The hunters made noise in the woods and I had to run run run in the frosted air, shards of ice exploding under my steps (microscopic stars seeping into the dark solid earth). Like a deer, like a hare. To the safety of my house. My heart wanted to stretch and grow like a tree to reach the sky-roads, the bird-paths. I wish I could leave it behind, instead of wrapping it in woolly scarves, and putting it in a wooden box lined with cotton and feathers. But it is too fragile. Too fragile to witness the birth of a day that is bound to die too soon.
